Dr. Laurel Frausto is from the western suburbs of Chicago. She graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2005 and completed her PhD in Neuroscience at Northwestern University in 2011. She spent several years working in medical research focused on Alzheimer’s disease pathology and treatments. Dr. Laurel then decided to pursue dentistry due to her passion to help others in the community and graduated from dental school at University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018. She completed a general practice residency at Illinois Masonic in 2019. Since completing residency she has worked in Chicago and enjoys treating a diverse population of patients.
Dr. Laurel is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society. In her free time Dr. Laurel enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the attractions and activities that Chicagoland has to offer.
